Claudia Bonollo, Architect, artist, Colour Consultant and eco & biophilic designer. She alternats research and colour consulting activity with outright experimentation in any area of creation, combining different techniques, materials, languages and disciplines. It is committed to empathetic and personalized design and is interested in synesthesia and the links that exist between colour and emotions. As Head Designer and Art Director for Monamour Natural Design, she develops innovative and unique lines of artistic, dreamlike, thematic and design gardens, taking the natural material used to unexplored limits with special attention to ecology and sustainability in all phases of the project, always designed for the well-being of future users. Founder and Art Director of the first eco & biophilic design studio in Spain and Founder and Director of the Atelier Cromático, an international platform for art, culture, and colour research.
Atelier Cromatico Founded in Madrid in 2002 and led by Italian architect and artist Claudia Bonollo, Atelier Cromatico is an international organization for art, culture, and colour research and a multidisciplinary laboratory for conscious chromatic exploration. Originally conceived as a new cultural promotion hub, it has evolved into a meeting point for artists, architects, urban planners, art enthusiasts, historians, scientists, philosophers, poets, psychologists, therapists, musicians, and more. Activities revolve around thematic dinners, gastronomic gatherings, masterclasses, workshops, creative nights, art-house film nights, seminars, exhibitions, video projections, and are characterized by two fundamental criteria: the belief that research should be approached in a multidisciplinary manner and the emphasis on experimentation, turning every participant in our initiatives, whether a teacher, student, or simple visitor, into a researcher.
Monamour Natural Design is a pioneering eco & biophilic design studio working in an international context. Each project, the result of a continuous research and very innovative techniques, becomes a sustainable creation as it incorporates elements of nature into the artistic and designed final object, involving all senses and using a contemporary language. In Monamour Natural Design’s organic creations, the study on colour plays a central role. Spaces are turned into sensitive spaces ideal for contemplation and activate feelings of well-being, giving life to very different and versatile surroundings. Each project is inspired by a theme, always ecological and respectful towards nature and the environment, producing dreamlike and empathic installations.
